Sixth Grade Pasta Restaurant

Every year in May the sixth grade opens a pasta restaurant complete with live entertainment, waiters, chefs, cashiers, pasta demonstrators and more. The restaurant is open from 11 to 1. We have to fill out resumes for the job we're wanting, though sometimes it's not the job we get. Just like the real world, if you misbehave while on the job, you can be fired (forced to sit in the office for the rest of the time). The cost for all of the supplies needed (pasta makers, tomato sauce, chef's hats, cheese graters, table cloths, register, decoration, drinks, bowls, spoons, etc.) comes to about $300. But thanks to Sonic and Donor's Choose, some of our items have been paid for, making the rest of the expenses manageable. Almost 200-300 people come every year for the pasta reataurnat. It's a very fun and memorable experience for sixth graders.
